Equipment
Our laboratory is well-equipped to perform failure analysis and related research. We are widely available for destructive and non-destructive testing of structural materials, investigating corrosion properties, and performing microstructural analysis. The professional staff consists of DSc and Ph.D. researchers supported by laboratory technicians.
Potential purposes of experimentation
Structural integrity assessment of materials, including materials testing, developing non-destructive examination methods, fine structure analysis, electrochemical corrosion testing, hydrogen embrittlement of materials, and phase transformations at elevated temperatures.
Accreditation
Our external laboratory has accreditation for the inspection of welded joints, boilers, pressure equipment, raw materials for metals, flat steel products, metals, metal pipes, steels, iron castings.
