Introduction of the Research Group

Our main reserch area is the analysis of the power system both in transient and steady state conditions. Additionally we have research activity in connection with the operation of the electric energy market, the infrastructural challenges of e-mobility andin the field of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).

Other activities

Internatinal Youth Conference on Energetics (IYCE) - it started from the department in 2007 (organized by the Energy College), one of the founding organizers of the group, Péter Kiss, has been in Budapest several times since the conference. International Conference on the European Energy Market (HRM) - significant participation from the group is typical and discussions have taken place to have one of the future events here in Budapest.
